INTERMEDIARY NERVE

Also known as the intermediate nerve, nervus intermedius, and the nerve of Wrisberg. It is a root of the facial nerve containing sensory fibers located in the geniculate ganglion and autonomic fibers located in the superior salivatory nucleus.
