Benevis, Kool Smiles To Pay $23.9 Million In Settlement With Department Of Justice

WASHINGTON, District of Columbia — Dental management company Benevis and more than 130 of its affiliated Kool Smiles clinics will pay $23.9 million, plus interest, to resolve allegations from the U.S. Department of Justice that they knowingly submitted false claims for payment to state Medicaid programs for medically unnecessary dental services performed on children insured by Medicaid, according to a DOJ news release.

Oral Health Giant Continues Their Support of Prosthodontic Research

CHICAGO, Illinois — P&G Crest Oral-B continue their legacy of supporting the dental specialty of prosthodontics by donating a total of $80,000 in 2017 to the American College of Prosthodontists Education Foundation (ACPEF). Representatives from P&G Crest Oral-B presented the funds at the American College of Prosthodontists (ACP) 47th Annual Session, held in San Francisco from Nov. 1-4. 2017.
