Health Care, Law Enforcement, Education Professionals Invited to Seminar on Street Drugs
The program, which is co-sponsored by the Greater Milwaukee Dental Association and Marquette University School of Dentistry, will feature the internationally recognized expert on street and club drugs, chemical dependency and clinical pharmacology Harold L. Crossley, DDS, PhD. Crossley will share insights and experiences from his 41-year career which includes degrees in pharmacy, pharmacology and dentistry, 25 years as a dental educator, more than three decades as a consultant to the U. Participants will learn to recognize the general signs and symptoms of street drugs, to identify the “doctor shopper”, to describe addiction treatment options and to manage prescriptions for patients who are or have been chemically dependent.handouts. Call 414-288-3093 or 414-276-9911 to register.
Pre-registration is preferred. The cost is $125 for dentists and the first dental staff member not attending with a dentist, $70 for dental team members attending with a dentist and $140 for all other professionals, including law enforcement officers, educators and public health officials.
