Michael Graham Named American Dental Association's Senior Vice President, Government and Public Affairs

WASHINGTON, District of Columbia – The American Dental Association has named Michael Graham Senior Vice President of its Division of Government and Public Affairs, based in Washington. Mr. Graham will assume full duties effective Jan. 3, 2011.

Mr. Graham joined the ADA in 1995 and has more than 30 years of government affairs experience in the federal and state legislative arenas.

Before joining the ADA, Mr. Graham was the director of legislative affairs for the National Association for Medical Equipment Services and associate director, Office of Government Relations for the National Association of Rehabilitation Facilities. He has a Masters Degree in Public Policy from the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC) and a B.A. degree from The Catholic University of America.

Mr. Graham is a Commander in the United States Navy Reserve and served on active duty in Iraq as the Chief of Staff for the Law and Order Task Force.
