AAE Annual Session The Premier Source of Continuing Education in Endodontics

CHICAGO, Illinois – More than 100 hours of continuing education in endodontics will be available at the 2004 Annual Session of the American Association of Endodontists (AAE) beginning May 6, 2004, in Anaheim, California.

Approximately 4,000 endodontic professionals and staff are expected to attend the premier meeting in the endodontic field, where they will have the opportunity to learn from 60 speakers and leaders through a variety of formats, including hands-on workshops, lectures, demonstrations and peer-to-peer discussions. We have tailored this program to provide attendees with many Pathways to Success, the theme of this meeting, explained AAE President Mahmoud Torabinejad, D.M.D., M.S.D., Ph.D. The AAE continues to surpass continuing education standards to provide the maximum value in scientific and clinical information to endodontists and staff from around the world.

Each year, the Annual Session is preceded by an all-day course focused on a topic selected by the AAE Continuing Education Committee. The Pre-Session Symposium, Current Concepts and Controversies in Vital Pulp Therapy, will feature presentations by Drs. Graham R. Holland, Ivar A. Mjr, Shahrokh Shabahang, Martin Trope and Pamela Gehron Robey. This popular event attracts over 1,100 attendees annually and is dedicated this year to the memories of endodontic icons Drs. I.B. Bender and Samuel Seltzer. As an added benefit to international attendees, the symposium and other educational sessions will be available in Spanish, Japanese and Portuguese through simultaneous interpretation.

The expansion of Annual Session events and educational opportunities is made possible in part by increased partnership with the endodontic industry through the AAE Corporate Sponsorship program. The dedicated support of companies such as Dentsply Tulsa Dental (Diamond Sponsor); Dentsply Maillefer (Silver Sponsor); SybronEndo (Silver Sponsor); Dentsply International (Silver Sponsor); Treloar & Heisel, Inc. (Silver Sponsor); EndoSolutions (Silver Sponsor); and ASI Medical, Inc., benefits attendees by providing meeting materials, new social events and endodontic student awards, among others. Sponsors recognize this venue as one of the most influential in the field, and join more than 100 additional product and service vendors in the AAE exhibit hall to announce the newest technologies and programs available on the market.

Registration and detailed information regarding the 2004 Annual Session is available on the AAE Web site at www.aae.org.
