District Meetings and Events

The Middlesex District has the following meetings and events scheduled. All meetings are from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 pm. Office staff is always welcome. Contact Deborah Lukey, event coordinator, at dentalsociety@verizon.net or call (617) 864-3446 for more information.

District News

Beacon Hill Day: More than 130 dentists attended the MDS Beacon Hill Day on May 21, 2008. Dentists were able to meet and lobby directly with state senators and representatives.  Sixteen members of the Middlesex District attended the event. Pictured below (left to right) are Drs. JoAnn Foley, Haniff Butt, Sherry Chan, Janis Moriarty, Tom Puschak, Philip Millstein, Phil Scali, and Gigi Garcia-Rogers.

Annual Meeting

The Annual Meeting was held at the Hotel Marlowe in downtown Cambridge. It was a great night to be downtown. Simply watching the cars, the bright lights and the busyness of an inner city. There's something exciting about it. 

We had a relatively decent attendance but, above all, we had a number of younger dentists—orthodontists, periodontists, prosthodontists, surgical, and general. These young people seem to understand that a good way to build a practice is through engaging with one another. Our organization serves that purpose. 

We initiated a Good Fellow Award along with a senior gift to an older member. What we wish to confer upon all attendees is that they are welcome and that we wish to serve them in whatever way we can.
