2005 AAOMS Dental Implant Conference Draws Record Crowd
The annual preconference program was expanded in 2005 to include four hands-on clinics. Joining the always popular hands-on courses on intraoral soft tissue techniques and hard tissue surgical techniques were the all new hands-on programs on immediate provisionalization of single and multiple-unit dental implant cases, and on periapical surgery.
The educational program merged clinical skills with practical techniques through sessions such as "A Team Approach to Anterior Bone Grafts," "Management of Endodontic Failure and Root Resorption in the Aesthetic Zone with Implant Replacement," and "Practical Methods for Single Tooth Restoration."
Lead by renowned experts in the field of dental implantology placement, the Dental Implant Conference is quickly earning a reputation for being one of the best educational programs of its kind in the United States.
The American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS), the professional organization representing more than 7,000 oral and maxillofacial surgeons in the United States, supports its members' ability to practice their specialty through education, research, and advocacy. AAOMS members comply with rigorous continuing education requirements and submit to periodic office examinations, ensuring the public that all office procedures and personnel meet stringent national standards.
